About the club
Cyber Robotics fosters an innovative and inclusive environment where students can explore and enrich their skills in robotics, engineering, problem-solving, and logistics through participation in VEX U Robotics Competition. Our club aims to provide opportunities for members to develop and expand soft skills in professional communication, strategic thinking, and leadership. Engaging in hands-on projects with collaborative interdisciplinary engineering, expanding STEM education outside the classroom, and representing Iowa State University at competitions are core objectives of the Cyber Robotics. Every year, we are given a new challenge for which we design, manufacture, program, and document multiple robots to compete against other collegiate teams across the world at regional and international competitions.
What you would actually do
- General Meetings - Sundays @ 4:00pm SICTR 0114 (Starts on 9/13 for new members interested)
- Mechanical Meetings - Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 5:00pm SICTR 2251 (Closed for new members till after 9/13)
- Software Meetings - Tuesdays & Wednesdays @ 6:30 SICTR 2251 (Closed for new members till after 9/13)
- Outreach/Business/Media - Sundays @ 4:30pm SICTR 0114 (Closed for new members till after 9/13)
