About the club
The mission of IDSA at ISU is to build interdepartmental connections with students and support them educationally and professionally. IDSA provides students with educational resources, connections, professional interactions, and experiences that elevate their design skills and foster an inclusive and supportive community of future product designers. Students enrolled in the Industrial Design program at ISU are granted academic membership to the national organization of IDSA that includes benefits such as Access to the member directory to connect with members of the design industry, Discounts on conferences and awards programs, Industry Discounts on Software, Scholarship Opportunities, Quarterly issues of Innovation magazine, Educational Webinars and many more.
What you would actually do
- Invite students studying, planning to study, or Interested in Industrial Design to join us for our bi-weekly meetings every other Thursday from 7:00-8:00 pm in the Armory
- Student Merit Awards
- A collection of student works presented before professional industrial designers as judges
- Serves to give students a sense of a professional critique as well as valuable feedback on their projects

- Depth in the subject beyond what coursework covers
