About the club

The purpose of the Information Systems and Business Analytics Club is to develop a better understanding and appreciation for information systems and business analytics. ISBA promotes beneficial and professional relationships between students, faculty and businesses. These goals are met through various means, such as meetings with employers, publications, seminars, and other activities.

What you would actually do

  • Each club meeting is catered with local cuisine (Papa Johns, Chick-fil-A, etc.) Any student of any major is welcome to attend any meeting for free
  • Each semester, we hold the Fin+Tech Night the night before the Business Career Fair
  • In addition, the ISBA Club hosts a semi-annual club field trip
  • On these field trips, companies open their doors to the members of the ISBA Club, after which we have a more informal club social in their city

What you would gain

  • Contact with speakers, alumni, and employers in the field
  • Depth in the subject beyond what coursework covers
