About the chapter

The Iowa State chapter was established in 1917 and has a long tradition of developing men who strive to lead, serve, and make a positive impact on their community. We believe that being a Lambda Chi means holding yourself to a higher standard while supporting the brothers around you. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds, interests, and majors, but are united by a commitment to integrity, personal growth, and brotherhood. We are always looking for driven men who want to get involved, build lasting relationships, and make their mark at Iowa State University.

“Lambda Chi gives you the opportunity to get involved, take on leadership, and become a better version of yourself. Our chapter is a place where you can build lifelong friendships, challenge yourself, and make an impact both within the fraternity and across Iowa State. What makes our brotherhood special is that everyone has the opportunity to find their place, get involved, and succeed with their brothers supporting them along the way.”
Levi Murray, 2026 Chapter President
