Alpha Sigma Kappa: Women and Gender Minorities in Technical Studies is a social sorority for women in technical fields to connect, network, and lend support in our academic and professional endeavors. We live by our six core values of Academics, Achievement, Civic Engagement, Commitment, Friendship, Leadership, and Social Justice. We participate in all the events along with all the facility chapters including socials, Homecoming, and Greek Week.
“Joining ASK has been one of the most influential decisions of my life! I've been able to meet my closest friends and sisters. Being surrounded by other STEM majors has provided so much support throughout my college journey!”
As listed by Alpha Sigma Kappa on its Iowa State SFE page.
Panhellenic sororities hold Primary Recruitment each fall, before classes start, and Secondary Recruitment through the rest of the school year. Fifteen of the sixteen chapters have a house south of campus.
Chapter details and photo come from Iowa State's Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement · 30 student members listed on stuorg.
