We are the only national social fraternity requiring specific fields of study, and Triangle is one of only three national fraternities that does not have a Greek letter name. The Iowa State Chapter was founded in 1964 and had a strong tradition of recruiting academically focused men. In addition, we strive to find men that live their life with integrity - those who make the choices to be leaders, scholars, professionals, and gentlemen in all aspects of our lives.
“Joining Triangle has enhanced my personal experience at Iowa State by giving me a strong support system found in brotherhood, a home away from home, and many opportunities for personal growth as a student and leader.”
As listed by Triangle on its Iowa State SFE page.
IFC fraternities recruit informally 365 days a year, so there is no single sign-up week. Most chapters have a house south of campus, with room for roughly 29 to 89 members.
